If you have questions at any time, you can reach our Program Director, Dr. Magee, at 970-491-7371 or christianne.magee@colostate,edu.
Check-in will take place at Academic Village Commons on June 8, 2025 from 11:30-1:15 PM. Please check in at the Academic Village Commons front desk (physical address: 820 W Pitkin St., Fort Collins, CO). You will be given room information to drop off your personal items and up to three tickets for lunch in the Rams Horn Dining hall. You are encouraged to park in nearby Lot 230. Outside of loading/unloading, parking permits are required on campus, Monday-Friday. Permits are digital and are associated with your license plate. We strongly discourage you from having a vehicle on campus for the week, as you will have no use for it. If you do need to keep your vehicle on campus during the event, please provide your license plate information to Academic Village Commons front desk.
The program kickoff and orientation will be held in Stadium 1205 Classroom, from 1:30-3:30 PM. The classroom is in the southeast corner of the stadium. We will have a map of this location at check-in. The physical address for CSU’s Canvas Stadium is 751 W Pitkin St, Fort Collins, CO 80521, but this address can be very misleading as the doors to this classroom are on W Lake Street at this location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jw4KxSTQDYEsqdvLA . We will have mentors departing from Academic Village at 1:00 PM and 1:15 PM to walk over with you to the Stadium 1205 Classroom. Alternatively, you can drive over and the closest parking lot with ADA parking to this classroom is Lot 585.
The Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry will be present to help with the transition to campus. Devorah and Zaccheaus will be in the Stadium 1205 classroom from 12:15-1:15 PM. Learn more about the dogs and this connection here: https://www.lutheranchurchcharities.org/k-9-comfort-dogs-about.html
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will have an educational demonstration in Stadium 1214 from 11:30-1:30 PM. We are not sure which animals are coming that morning, but this is who might volunteer: https://www.cmzoo.org/animals/zoomobile-animals/.
We recommend using Academic Village Commons, 820 W Pitkin St, Fort Collins, CO 80521 as your destination address for check-in. This is also where you will pick up your student after the program closing. The Academic Village parking is Lot 230. The Stadium classroom is just north of Lot 585. An interactive map of the CSU Campus can be found here: https://map.concept3d.com/?id=748#!s/. You can also use the map to the left to print a map of the CSU campus.
