This site and direct emails will be our primary methods of communication as we prepare for our summer program. If you have questions at any time, you can reach our Program Director, Dr. Magee, at 970-491-7371 or christianne.magee@colostate,edu.
All participants are required to submit a $40 deposit to secure their spot in the program. Deposits can be made at this secure site: https://bms-colostate.nbsstore.net/zoetis. The deposit will be refunded when the student attends the program in June. Families for whom the deposit will be a hardship can contact Dr. Magee for a deposit waiver.
Enrollment in the course, VMBS101 - Alliance Institute Veterinary Perspectives is a critical step for participating in the summer program. The course is offered through CSUOnline at this site: https://online.colostate.edu/courses/VMBS/VMBS101.dot. Once the student is registered for the course, they will be prompted to create an electronic identity (eID: https://online.colostate.edu/current-students/services/eid.dot) to obtain access to the learning management system, Canvas (https://canvas.colostate.edu/), that will be used to share information and turn in assignments during the program in June. It is vital that the student retain their eID and password information so that they can access Canvas when they arrive at CSU in June. When setting up the eID, we advise that the student does not use their school email account as these can sometimes be paused over summer or be terminated after graduation leaving the student without access in June.
Students will be provided with laptops, scrubs and a polo shirt to be worn during specific activities during the week. There are no textbooks or other supplies that students need to bring. We will provide a packing list closer to the week and we ask that you fill out this form (https://forms.office.com/r/JEK1Hsx8BM) to help us provide you with the best ZVPI experience possible.
